Use a razor blade to get a corner loose, then carefully peel the window film back Try to peel it off in one piece if possible. You will be left with a mess of glue on the window. Spray a mixture of ammonia and water on the glue mess and scrape it off with a razor blade while its still wet. If you have film over the rear window defroster, don't go near it with a razor blade. Instead, peel off the film, spray water & ammonia mixture on the glue residue and scrub in the direction of the defroster element with a kitchen scrubber pad.

Don't clean your tinted windows with ammonia, as this breaks down the glue. Use a light dish soap/water mixture.
