I don't have the Bentley in front of me, but those sound like EXCELLENT numbers for a motor with 140k.

Equally important to the actuals, is the difference between cylinders; 9 psi difference is better than many new motors will test at. I'd be throwing a tiny little party, after you test the oil pressure and do a leak-down test.

Hello All, I have just done a preliminary compression test on my '90 Westy with 140K miles. The figures are: #1=118, #2= 125, #3=116, #4=127. The engine had cooled some when I finally ran the test, but do these figures sound about right for an engine with 140K miles?

Can someone tell me which terminal (looking at solenoid from engine compartment) and maybe an easy way to connect a remote starter, so I can watch the gauge while cranking?

Thanks, Jerry
