In the next month or two, I will be swapping a complete '91 turbo Diesel drivetrain into my '87 Syncro. As a result, I am offering my current motor for sale. I have only owned this van for a few months, so I don't know all that much about its history, but it runs well, has no leaks of any fluids, has proper coolant (OJ) in it and oil filter (gen VW) on it. I would like to sell the whole shootin' match for $1,200 OBO. This includes engine, clutch, wiring harness, brain, and any other relays and bits that go along with the gasoline engine (Except fuel pump [saving as spare for my FI bay window]) The exhaust has surface rust but no leaks. Other drivetrain parts will be available, though somebody already has dibs on the tranny. Call or e-mail me direct to discuss further or arrange a test drive. I am in Hartford, CT -chris 860-523-1102
