I'm sizing up a '91 Carat and in addition to needing a new exaust and a new front blower motor, it seems OK. Today I checked it out again and noticed fluid, I'm assuming auto trans fluid moistening the bottom of the transmission case. Is this a chronic condition typical of this vintage Vanagon perhpas just a bad seal, or something much worse?

TIA,

Barry
