I just checked out that battery web site and its dimensions would make it fit into the battery box with no alterations whatsoever. It might be a better choice to the Optima after all. SP1000 6-3/4" H x 7-3/4" W x 6-1/2" D

Battery box is

7" H X 12 -1/2" W X 7" D
