Just to throw another monkey wrench into it. . .

VW also sells the Luk clutch kit.  It is the standard one and they ae
listed as fitting any bus/vanagon from 76-92.  It is probably the same
kit that others offer on the list, but from the DEALER!!

With listee discount, they come to just under $139.  As with the other
kits listed, they are complete.  Pressure plate, disc, t/o bearing,
pilot bearing, alignment tool.  But mine comes with a little packet of
grease for the splines.  So neener neener!!!

I like the friendly competition on the list.  Much better than the
whining about customer service!
