how do I know what model it is? Is this a GL? ............ thats the trim level. How would I know a Synchro from a GL? ........ You could have a Syncro with GL trim package. A syncro has four wheel drive .............. You haven't complained about the price so I'm sure you gat a standard Vanagon GL, possibly with some nice accessories. Other trim levels are L, LS, GL
