Ken, did you forget??? LOL you should know this..remember your blue '86? having the weekender interior does not determine if it was a GL or not. there were plenty of '85-'87 GL's that had the non weekender interior. , ive owned two GL's that didnt have the weekender int. , actually 4, if you count my ex 84 blue sunroof (not the wolfsburg - thats a keeper!) and that '83 9 pass sunroof that Tom Forhan now owns (that was a GL with vinyl seats, because it was a 9 pass). the 85 up GL's had the velour seats w/ armrests. the "weekender" package was just that, a package (folding middle seat, rear sofabed w/ cushion) that was an option, but was usually installed on MOST GL's, but not all.
