I have a LARGE (4"x6") rectangular convex stuck on the right hand mirror, and a 3" round one on the left. The right hand one obliterates the authentic view, but I don't really need to read license plates or such through that mirror, I need a broad view, which the convex gives nicely. The 3" on the driver's side still leaves plenty of flat mirror to see clearly, while affording a far broader leftist view of approaching vehicles.

Incidentally everyone, On my driver side the PO had put a tiny rectangular mirror at the bottom that actually shows the blind spot on the left. Do those round convex mirrors do the same thing? I've never used the round ones. It might be good on the right side if it reveals a blind spot.
