Beware that there are TWO VW "Alpine White" colors, one is the L90D you
speak of, and one is (something like) L90AC (or something like that).
One was used in the early 80's the L90D in the late 80's & early 90's.

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME COLOR. I could only get mine through the dealer,
but it came with a super handy teeeeee-niny little wire brush for rust
touch-ups.

With a 1982 White Westfalia, with ONE touch-up spot of L-90D Alpine
