Schucks has them for $72 and an $80 core charge with a lifetime warranty. A long extension $5 and a allen socket $5, the CV joint comes with grease. I almost put one in until I found out the noise was a loose axle nut (again). Then the question I would have is: with a life time warranty is it better just to replace it when it wears out or regrease it every two years? Thanks to all who pointed me to the Relitech site for instruction on replacing the CV joints. Next question. Has anyone had any recent shop quotes for CV joint replacement. Curious about cost. Thanks, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver |
