If not, you can start looking at connections, grounds, internally busted wires etc. that you may have disturbed while working on the pipes. re the OXS, it shouldn't blink anyway AFAIK -- but regardless, it's just a light connected to a switch in the speedo cable, doesn't actually do a single thing except light up every N thousand miles (N = 30 or 60 depending on year). david
