Sheeesh.... It's not the watercooled part, it's the Eurovan-Automatic part (and the extra cylinders). And I hope you put in the A/C yourself, from a different model year, in the driveway, in the rain, at least......... and unless a vehicle has at least 100,000 miles on it, it hasn't proven itself yet..... and as for fear of breakdowns, it's not the destination, or even the journey, that counts -- it's white-knuckled praying for each mile that counts.
