You have a bad level controller or an open from the level controller to the gauge panel, or a short (could be very high resistance, 100 kOhms might do it) in the line from the expansion tank to the level controller. The controller is a "relay" with 43 stamped on it, on the fuse/relay panel in new systems and on the wall forward and above the relay panel in old systems. What year van and what test gear do you have? david
