The first two wiring systems I thought of that could be used for a "Pop-Top Ajar" alarm are the seat belt and the driver's door open buzzers. Either could be used to alert the driver when the keys are in the ignition (door open system) or when the engine is started (seat belt system). The seat belt buzzer would stop after a few seconds, the door ajar would continue on until the top was closed. It would not be to hard to pull a wire off of either system and run it to a micro-switch up top at the latch. Both buzzers are nuisances anyway! Jay |
