He made a couple of stops on the way home and nothing else happened. ---------------- You should always stop as soon as possible and check your oil if the light comes on, it could be too late after a couple of stops. I'd first suspect the sender as defective and then check for bad engine grounding or loose harness plug in on the instrument cluster.
