James, if you are talking about installing a TiiCo engine (www.tiico.com) then this price is not that bad. A breakdown: 4000$ for engine 200$ for shipping $100 mis. stuff (injector seals, fuel lines, etc) The book-time for a tiico conversion is 22hours... so if you run the numbers this corresponds to just under $55/hr. That is not THAT bad a rate. For what it is worth, i wouldn't install a TiiCo in someone elses' bus for under 1000$. -Matthew 86 syncro westy tiico |
