Subject: Pulling piston pins on 2.1l
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Volks, Rebuilding a 2.1l, and having a hell of a time pulling the wrist pins..........I even have the vw tool 3091 it shows in the Bentley........and they won't budge.

Now, I do not want to tear stuff up, and i would like to save the pistons, etc., and mic them out to see if reusable in the future.

One listee mentioned and easyout to grab the pin of 7/8 size, but that is huge, and i tried smaller ones and they will not grab.....

If someone has fabricated something that works and can pmail a pic...please do so! I am at the end of my rope here!
