Greetings fellow van folks!

I want to buy a rear-facing, removable seat with some upholstery damage, or stains, or something. Does anyone have any leads?

I am planning on removing the seat, but leaving the frame. This will provide a platform for welding up a removable shelf. Is this a goofy enough idea to qualify me as a true vanagon-nut?
