Must have a really high ceiling in his garage if he can open his pop-top in it. Most likely, he had the van in his driveway with the roof up and tried to pull into the garage. (no, I haven't done it, but I have come close :>))

The fridge is a Dometic RC160E, I have a scan of the manual in my Yahoo!Photos page at http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink , go to Vanagon folder, then to the Dometic RC160E Manual album. The fridge, and an auxilary battery to run it, came stock in this model of Westfalia Camper.

How much you want to bet, the P.O. forgot the top was up, and went to pull out of the garage! Is that what a Dometic fridge looks like? Doug '90 GL --
