If you have an '81-82 Vanagon Diesel, this is great news.

As you may know (or will inevitably discover sooner or later) , the coolant
expansion tank used in your Vanagon (068 121 405B) was discontinued by VW
over a year ago.  This is a common failure item, and retrofitting a later
style tank to fit involves replacing a bunch of hoses etc., at a rather high
cost - leaving a lot of people hoping that their existing tank will hold
together just a little longer with epoxy and duct tape.

No, the tanks have not gone back into production.  But I found 15 of them at
a dealer in Germany and I have them coming in about 3-4 weeks.  This could
be the last we'll see of them.

The price isn't bad either -  $99.95, which is about what they sold for when
they were readily available.  If your Vanagon takes this tank, you would be
very smart to grab one while you can.

You can call your order in to the toll-free number and it will ship when
they arrive.  Or you can just shoot me an email if we already have your info
(name, address, card #).  In a few days (when the website is next updated)
you'll be able to order it online if you prefer.  You will not be charged
until the part ships.
