Hi everyone
I'm Manolo a new '82 caravelle 1.6l diesel owner from spain,and 
this is my first vanagon, i've beeing reading messages on this group, and it looks good, good feeling in here. ;-)

to begin, i have 2 questions.

i've found on a scrapyard an'90 5spd double cap vanagon, does the gearbox of that one fit on my caravelle?

to put a 5spd on my 4spd 1.6l diesel caravelle makes any sense?


and the second ones

is there anyone else from spain on this list?
anyone knows about any club in here
