"What is "acid etching rust converter?" I use the brand "Oxysolve RUST CONVERTER" its basically Zinc Phosphate with other stuff. the sales rep told me It has acid that eats little pits into the metal and gives the metal more of a tooth for paint to hold/adhere to better. Oxysolve also sells "Degreaser+Rust remover" I like to use this to degrease the metal. After some detective work I found out the company POR-15 buys these Oxysolve products from Oxysolve and then paste their own POR-15 "Metal ready" sticker on it and charge 12.95 for a 20 oz. bottle! Not me, I buy Oxysolve for $4.00 84' Westy "Millenium Falcon"
