Try VW Paradise in San Marcos about 30 miles N. of San Diego. All the others I found were over priced above dealer prices. Even VW Paradise prices were close but when I factored in the cost of gasoline to get there and the need of a ride back and the time there and back it was more cost effective and hassle free to go to my local VW dealer. Try City Chevy/VW in Pacific beach. They are pretty good and good prices too. William Polowniak 1989 Vanagon GL 1988 Mercedes 300 SE Subject: Recommended VW shops in San Diego
