Hi all.  I have a 1984 GL with the original (as far as I know...) grille.
I've decided that I like the "all black" look better than the silver trim
that is on the grille now.  I've tried a few chemicals to remove the paint
(lacquer thinner, some other substances that I know paint doesn't like,
etc.), but none seem to work really well for this job.  Has anyone else out
there removed this silver paint with a simple method?  Some of the chemicals
can turn the black plastic white, which certainly isn't good.  Just curious.
If not, I'll just keep toughing it out with the things I've used so far.
