When asking for assistance, it would be helpful to give us a location. I am located on Long Island NY. Let me know if I could be of assistance.

Hello to all the people on the list. I have been in lurker mode for some time. And even got bumped off the list. Changing jobs took up allot of my time. Well as things usually happen right when I changed jobs my tranny started acting up. It started popping out of 3rd gear. It will stay in gear as long as I keep power applied. As soon as I let up on the throttle, it backs out of gear. It is also having trouble going into the other gears. Seems I have to search a little for it to engage. My van has 251,000 miles on it, guess it's about time for a rebuild.

I will be searching the archives for tranny rebuilders. If any one knows of a rebuilder, please let me know. The dealer wants about $1000.00 to $1600.00 to rebuild my tranny.
