Gas tank hose maintenance. The plastic hoses from your pump to the engine compartment often get crushed or deformed after many years of use. I use a short piece of brass tubing as a liner. I get thin wall hobby tubing from ACE Hardware that slips up inside the plastic and insert about 1 1/2" inch up into the plastic hose, this prevents crushing and allows you to tighten the clamp very nicely. If you have hosed that have wear points, slip a larger piece of hose over them to protect them. In tight places I use heat shrink tubing to get through the port. Always use Fuel Injection hose on the pressure side of your fuel system.
