Hi, I had much similar readings, in order to get a more accurate reading I
mounted with Velcro a small digital speedo/odo for a bicycle on the dash.
It gets its' readings from a magnet which I mounted on the left side cv
joint. It was really easy to set up...roll the tire one revolution, enter
this measurement into the little speedo and it is spot on. I have had my
van cruising at 70 and this little contraption works. My stock speedo is
over optimistic by about 12 mph. total cost for the digital speedo was
10.00 at the local bike shop. A cheap way out if you wan na know your
actual mph or mileage,
