Your numbers don't add up. 8 hrs. @ 75 mph--that's 600 miles one-way. Then what, you turn around and drive 8 hrs. back? That two tanks of gas each way, 1200 miles a day? 4 days a week, that's 4800 miles a week. In 10 weeks you'd have racked up your 48,000 miles. Three years, that's 750,000 miles. Exaggerate much?

I drive my '89 automatic 75 all day long-8 hour one way trips 4x weekly. Have been for 3 years and 48,000 miles of the 93,000. YMMV
