Some people excel in stupidity and sheer gall. When I was in my 20's back in 1968 a stranger approached me (with long hair and a beard back then) and asked if I had any acid. What a fool. I could have been an undercover narc. But I guess when you are into drugs you don't care and take stupid risks. I was later stopped by an off duty cop (gun and everything) because he said I looked like Charles Manson when he was on the lam after that terrible deed. All the copper saw was long hair and beard. That cop let me go after checking my ID.

Must be different here. Every winter when we ski the back country on Loveland pass we have at least 2 or 3 people come over and ask for rolling paper ect. You are right though now that I think about it. Most of the Vanagons here (not all!) are in pretty rough shape. Not exactly middle/upper class looking vehicles. Lots of hippie wanna be's here in Boulder you know! I've seen a few vans when I have been in Calif. Man you guys have the $$. Slowly getting mine there! Mine is in really good shape though.
