You are probably referring to a Z-bed conversion. While they allow you to fold your regular bench into a bed similar to the Weekender bench, they are not as comfortable. The regular bench has convolutions (side bolsters) which make them more comfortable to sit on. The problem with them is they make for a bumpy bed. The Weekender benches are flat.

Weekender benches sell for $50-$150 around here. I don't know how much shipping will be to Utah from California. It may be worth considering.
