I have to take off for the day in my Geo Metro rental car. I am waiting on gaskets to finish replacing the injectors on the Isuzu and well, you all know the story on the Vanagon.

I also need to replace the plastic water hose junction that attaches to the firewall as well as the hose hanger above the throttle body. Are these dealer only items or does one of our vendors carry them? BTW, what's the little knob on the junction for?

When I first acquired this van I thought I had been ripped off for the $800 purchase price. As the engine doesn't burn any oil or have leaky heads, etc., I figured $800 wasn't a bad price for used engine and I got the rest of the van for FREE!

Thanks,

Walter Evens Hesperia, CA, USA 2-85GLs

ps: Who ever said that FORD meant "fix or repair daily" must have never owned a Vanagon. Just kidding!
