All weekender sofabeds have the seatbottom lift up for underseat acess. the rear sofabeds from the westys bolt to the floor, not the side like the weekender (passenger van) sofabeds. The westy GL rear sofabed is narrower on the drivers side to accomodate the cabinets etc. The carat/wolfsburg (pass van) weekender rear sofabed is narrower than the regular weekender sofabed to accomodate the plastic side panels (w/ table). The full width sofabed from a westy weekender (non gl camper) will work with the plastic side panels if its from a 85-87 westy weekender. it wont work w/ plastic side panels if its from a '80-'83 standard (P-24) westy.
