This is an excellent gas heater and well worth saving; fits any '72-up Bus
or Vanagon.  But be careful - there are many neccessary parts that are
external to the heater.  There are relays and circuit breakers somewhere
behind the dash (right side as I recall), a separate fuel pump, and a temp
sensor in the heater conduit near the front of the Vanagon. Omit them and
you have nothing but a useless furnace body, or a parts donor, as they are
either unavailable or horribly expensive new.  Somewhere on type2.com there
is (or was) a copy of my original BA6 factory service manual, which Darrell
Boehler was nice enough to scan some years ago for the archives. Assuming
it's still there, it pictures all of the individual parts, and also provides
info for assembling/testing/repairing the unit.
