I've never heard of any VW people of any kind running this RX7 oil cooler. As a water or oil cooler. I simply saw them advertised on E-bay and read up on them. When I found one of these coolers in good condition in a wrecking yard, I bought it as something to futz around with. It simply goes back to my principal of KISS, keep it simple. I figured a $700.00 Mazda cooler could be a good thing to experiment with.
