Get real everyone. I have two metal 5 gal Jerry cans that do the same for about $25 in cost for the cans. Question is without Gary Lee's luggage rack where would you put them. I'd find a way. That question has occurred to me as well. If I could carry an extra ten gallons of fuel, my van would have a range of over 500 miles! Ken has a nice replacement tank (22 gal) on his site, but the price... ouch! -Mike Moery Anchorage, AK --------------- ||E[__] [__]|[_]\ | =======| - || * * * *( o )-------( o )= 'Ol Bessie '82TD Westy

I noticed that my neighbor's syncro has a fuel tank located at the rear of the van, but my GL has the tank in the front... Soooo, has anyone ever run dual tanks? I mean, being as how Vanagons get such wonderful gas mileage and all... Just a thought. Brian --
