I was thinking about doing that very same thing.... 3 of my OEM hoses have the yellowish plastic protection sleeve on the entire length to the injectors... ONE does not. Is this normal? Can these be re-routed such that they do not lay directly on the engine block, and then would not need this heat sleeve protection?
