Tony, Unfortunately my records aren't that thourough. I do remember they were more expensive than standard plugs but less expensive than Fast German Auto -- maybe $6.75 each but don't quote me. I put them in in July '99 and have pulled them and cleaned them every time I've set the timing and idle speed before the annual emmissions check. Except for when I had a rich mixture problem they have come out a nice light tan color. I made several other 'improvements' about the same time -- replaced the PO's Goodyear Wranglers with MXT's, added K&N air cleaner and polished the throttle body -- so I can't attribute all the improvement in driving pleasure to the +4's but I don't think they held anything back. Recently on a trip back to Houston from Corpus Christi I managed to squeeze 20 mpg out of the automatic equipped beast. I can't imagine that figure getting much better until I can either do a full Lilley style rebuild or convert to one of Kurt's TDi's. Chuck '85 Wolfsburg Westy - 'Roland the Road Buffalo'

I gave someone some bad advice.....I'm glad you were able to enlighten us all. And if you've had no problems after 2 years...well that says it all.
