I know Brian meant this rhetorically, and doesn't want it to happen. I agree with him wholeheartedly, even if I hardly ever buy from these vendors (one of whom, i ight say, never responds to my pricing/availability inquiries... no, he's not an American).

I too think the vendors' presence on the list is valuable. After all, they represent a RESOURCE for Vanagoneers. However it WOULD be nice to see things kept to FACTS when dealing with them on-list; then rebuttals could be stated in a matter-of-fact way, with no ill-feeling. Even two decent persons (such as Steve and Ron seem to be) can sound pretty nasty when they argue with one another, and they tend to forget details; then the other party can leap back and say "Liar...!".

Let's keep vendors on the list and PLEASE let the vendors keep it calm. -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut Hmm, Windows For Dummies... You got that right!!! Friends don't let friends do Windows
