Subject: Subject: Exploded diagrams and Value of Microfiche Vanagon Manuals
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Jeff,

The microfiche on e-bay ARE the Bentley manual. An exact replica! I found this out the hard way when I purchased the auto trans microfiche two weeks ago. I have a spare auto trans in need of a rebuild and was pretty dissappointed when I discovered this. No offense to the guy selling them because they are good quality, but it's kind of misleading that he does not mention that these are straight out of the Bentley.

Peace, Greg Stelz 86 GL to westy conversion Columbus, Ohio

Thanks,

I keep noticing the gent selling the microfiche manuals on ebay. Are they of any value? I would like something that had an exploded view of all the parts in my 82 and how they should go together. Better than what my Bentley's and Haynes manuals provide.

I have not be to a VW parts counter in a long while, but when I am at my local Isuzu dealer, they have some nice microfiches identifying how each part is used (in an exploded diagram), its number and how that assemblage relates to the other parts of the car. Anything exist for us?

Regards --Jeff Strickrott 82 Westfalia
