Gee, after re-reading this part I guess it does sound a little harsh unless you get my sense of humor in the first place. I actually think of myself and all other Vanagon addicts (and anyone who would even consider an engine transplant no matter what kind would gladly place themselves in this catagory) to be a little crazy.

Sorry about the harshness. I actually have alot of respect for anyone who attempts to keep their van on the road no matter how they do it. If you like Subaru, go for it! If you want to wait for that hydrogen/fuel cell conversion, be my guest. It takes different strokes to move the world (just ask Gary Coleman :-)
