Subject: boster motor in Vanagon

Has anyone installed a Boxter motor in a vanagon.......it seems the right candidate ( other than cost) for a transplant into the Van.......no turbo hardware, flat 6 could fit neatly under decklid, plenty of torque, maybe even add the Boster trans and switch the ring and pinion to the other side.......I know I saw that some German salvage yard guys installed a water cooled 911 motor into a van....never really saw the finished product.........the svx....too tight, i4's...hmm, i5'sHMM!

Just pondering
