As a matter of fact, I relayed my headlights the weekend before last.
It boosted the voltage to the headlamps by 1.6 volts, which makes a
noticeable difference in the light output.  Also drops the current
passing through the headlight switch to a tiny fraction of what it was.

Anyone ever relayed their headlights to get either
more power, or add higher wattage bulbs without
burning out the switch?


My Hella fog's are relayed, and they seem quite a bit
brighter than the headlights... I think it is the same
bulb...
