Well... Daddeo is OK... just dodged a bullet tho. came out of borders the other day to the sweet smell of coolant. Looked under the engine while holding my breath and guess what... saw a nice little puddle of green stuff and a constant drip, drip, drip. Of course I immediately thought the worst... head gaskets. Damn!

Well, it ended up being the gasket coming out of the water pump! Thank God! So it hardly cost me anything. Did an oil change... changed the coolant too just to be on the safe side and she's running like a top. Drove to Honokaa (up the beautiful Hamakua coast about 45 miles) and back Saturday... no problem. Whew!

May all your coolant leaks be non-head related.
