I think you should keep your Vanagon also.  I have not seen anything for
sale out there with under a 100,000 miles on it.  Currently my Vanagon has a
little over 212,000 miles, and its a 90.  You know the history on your van,
who knows what you might be getting yourself into on somebody elses.  Three
weeks after I bought my 90, it threw a rod, and I had to get the engine
rebuilt.  That was almost 5 years ago.  I am lucky my husband didn't make me
sell it right then and there.  Since then I have spent thousands keeping him
in good shape.  That includes a transmission.  Unless there is lots of rust,
and it is on its way to the junkyard, I would think twice about trading up.
