It is 5/16 inch or 7.9 mm. I have recently learned that there is a difference between standard fuel line and that for fuel injection. The latter is high pressure (electronic fuel pumps for FI put out 80 plus psi). I just bought some today for the price of $4.49 A FOOT!

I did use regular fuel line when I replaced the fuel filter recently and haven't had any problem yet, but it was a pretty short piece of hose. I will go back and replace it with the correct hose in the near future just to be on the safe side.
