Subject:      loud fuel pump.

The fuel pump in my bus has gotten really loud lately.  Everything is
still running fine, but it's a bit disconcerting at stop lights.  Is
this a sign of impending failure?  The fule filter is less than a year
old, but I suppose it could have picked up a big chunk of crud out of
the tank.  Would this kind of blockage make the fuel filter work harder,
hence run louder?  It has the setup with the silver cannister filter
before the pump.
