Hey Greg, Please let me know what you get back on this post... My pump was running real loud (155K miles) and I replaced it with a brand new (very expensive Bosch pump) and guess what?... This one is running just as loud! It doesn't seem to be the mounting either because I can hold it with my hands and it still is loud. I am afraid what is getting pushed through the pump from my tank. I cut the filter open when I changed the pump and it was full of very lite brown, clay color gas. I am not sure what is going on but I have plans of dropping my tank in the spring. Please let me in on this thread with you. Thank you.
