The best thing (IMHO) that I have seen so far is a pair of tanks made to fit between the frame and the outside edge of the body. This was on a passenger model. It looks like they would hold 10-12 gallons each. They were very simple, welded aluminum construction, with no provision for any type of fuel level gauge sender or fuel pump. My long term plan is to install one on the side opposite the propane tank on my Westy.
