Come to think of it... since the Oxygen Sensor LED is just a "dumb" little odometer driven warning light, you could just use that.

Either replace it with your pop-top sensor, or run them both... if it lights, and your pop-top is truly latched.. then it is time to reset the Oxygen Sensor Odometer button.
